Celebrating A Double Anniversary

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

I’ve been around for ONE whole year!!!!

YUP, it was a year ago today that my friend at Soul Jonz sat down with me and suggested I started a blog.  And my first blog was posted on October 15, 2007.

Here are a few interesting statistics about my blog.

YAY!!!!  This is also my 200th post, I didn’t plan on it being this way, but yeah, it kinda just happened this way, so it’s a double anniversary in that sense.

So, as I solicit, show me some love, you know where.

Keep it uppity and keep it truthfully radical, JLL

  1. @cheri T.

I’ve become more deliberate in my thoughts. If nothing else, I’ve found it more frustrating. Reason being because when I see current events that catch my attention I see myself harping on the same issues and the same problems.

It’s a frustrating situation to fully be aware that there is truly nothing new under the sun.

  2. Congrats Bro!!! I love your blog. I got some of my friends here reading it as well. That Soul Jonz is a wise man. Continue on being uppity and truthfully radically!

  3. 200 congrats for the posts you’ve written and a genuine uppity hooray for the Uppity Negro Network–a place to embrace your inner Uppity Negro!

Uppity honors to you–words do matter as we search for the right ones to address where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re headed. Long way to go, short time to get there. Post on.

Uppity, keep on resonating radically truthful!

  4. I know I’m late and all but CONGRATULATIONS! It seems like only yesterday we were pondering what to call this blog and now look’ a blogosphere treasure.

Does this make me a blog apostle?

Just kidding…congratulations again and keep keeping it truly uppity!
