For anyone who knows me, I’m back in the District and it’s like my second home to me, especially after doing the internship this year. Thanks to the host fam for letting me stay here, rent free again, and taking me downtown and everything. That being said, I’m doing my best to be out and about and seeing as many people as humanly possible now that I’m back up here. As a result blogging has taken a back seat.
For interested readers, I did make down there.
I could not use my ticket–but that’s a post in and of itself.
So, I plan to do three posts concerning the inauguration the now 44th president of the United States, President Barack Obama. The first, probably being the longest about the significance of “the moment” and just outlining the whole 1.20.09 day for you all. The second will be about the logistical nightmare that was the Blue Ticket section and the South Capitol section. And third, as a homiletician, I’ve always been spellbound by speeches, so I’m going to do a whole post about his speech.
Yeah, generally boring stuff, but hey, it’s my blog.
And just to appease some of my readers, need not worry, I will HAVE to do a blog about that which is Lady Michelle O, because she was the best looking thing in DC last night.
But, I plan to be out tonight, and if not, I need to be sleep tonight because I have a 10 hour drive back to Atlanta, and class tomorrow night 6pm that I must attend. A blog may not come until Friday, possibly Saturday depending on what spurts of energy I may get.
So, in the meantime, in between time,
Keep it uppity and keep it truthfully radical, JLL
