When people speak of the ‘wrongs’ of this country, they cannot name one that’s done less. Many ‘older’ nations/cultures have perpetrated far, far worse. No one can argue that this nation has advanced liberty and prosperity for more people of more persuasions than any nation in recorded history, period. The combination of a democratic republic and free enterprise has done more for more people everywhere, in spite of the ‘ugly periods’ and atrocities that have occurred. No one argues how people fleeing oppression and depravity seek to come here. The reason you have such Muslim unrest in Europe vs. here is simply the lack of opportunity in those socialized, bureaucratized, and hyper-prejudiced societies. Mexicans, Cubans, Hatians, Nigerans, Koreans, Viet Namese, etc. come here and thrive more than any other nation on Earth; their freedom to practice their faith and prosper is unparalleled.

No nation or person is perfect, but none, absolutely none, is better for more people than this one.
